Update January 12, 2012: VERY close to a beta of the 1y0-A20 XenApp 6.5 practice exam. I know, about time! When it's ready, I'll email subscribers and post to blog, etc.
There's not much more to report about the 1Y0-A20 Citrix® XenApp 6.5 online practice exam, but I have been receiving lots of email and messages about it, so I figured I'd send out a mass update via blog post/social media.
The exam engine developer (the guy building the exam system that actually runs the questions and answers, etc.) is in the final stages of testing. The database/PHP developer is preparing the Citrixxperience side for testing. As soon as the two of them feel that their testing is satisfactory, I'll release it.
Take my word, no one is more anxious about this practice exam being released than I am. So I assure you, as soon as I have the OK from the developers to let it go live, I won't hesitate.
One change that is being made regarding payment for the 1Y0-A20 is there won't be a recurring charge. There will be a onetime fee ($69) for 30 days of access, and everything else remains the same from earlier updates. I believe that 30 days is more than enough time for anyone who is truly ready to take the real exam. Also, no one will accidentally forget to cancel the practice exam on PayPal before incurring an extra month's fee. Note, that if anyone needs more time on it, I can work out a manual payment for an extra month or more.
When I have a few of the new practice exams created, I'll bundle them in CCAA, CCEE, and hopefully, CCIA packages, which will have an initial fee and recurring fees, as they will have multiple online exams - much like the 5.x Citrix® Exam Preparation PDF membership is set up presently.
Time to get back to work. But I'll keep everyone posted on the latest developments and the live release of the 1Y0-A20.
