Citrix Education launches a new Exams page

Citrix announced today that they have launched a new Exams page on Citrix Education's website. The Citrix Education website has been somewhat confusing to navigate and the Exams page eases the confusion a bit by separating some of the keys to preparing for and taking a Citrix exam.

The Citrix Education Exams page simplifies the Citrix Education website by explaining what an Exam Preparation Guide is and that it should be the first resource a test-taker reviews to make sure they are fully prepared for a Citrix exam. It contains a link to the full list of Citrix exams and by clicking on the desired exam, a visitor can download an Exam Preparation Guide for the exam.

The Exams page also has a brief explanation of what to expect on a Citrix exam and lists the most common types of questions (called items) including multiple choice, drag and drop, simulation, and decision tree. Although the types of items are explained in more detail in each Exam Preparation Guide, it would be nice, just for convenience sake, if each item type in the list was linked to a page that shows and explains more about the item type.

From the Exams page a test-taker is linked to the three different ways they can register for a Citrix exam: Online, by phone, and in person. Citrix Education also lists accommodations for those in need of them, such as more time for non-native English speaking people and individuals with special needs. Also in the Accommodations list is a brief explanation of what a Citrix beta exam is and who can take a beta exam. A link to a page allowing visitors to sign up to take Citrix beta exams would be a nice edition in this section.

With so many Citrix exams and certifications, and such a large training program, it would be a nearly impossible task to list all of the ever-changing information about Citrix exams on one page, so all-in-all it's a nice introductory page to Citrix exams.
