I've installed an exciting new feature on Citrixxperience that integrates it with Facebook.
The way it works is, when you click Login in the top left of the screen, you are transferred to the login screen. On the login screen, under the Username and Password fields, you will see a button that looks like this:
If you have a FB account, you can click that button and enter your FB login and password and you will be logged into Citrixxperience with that profile.
Hopefully, this will make things that much simpler since you won't have to remember a separate username and password for Citrixxperience.
Unfortunately, there are a few 'bugs' with the new feature that will have to wait to be fixed by the developers of the plugin. One is that your avatar from FB will not appear in either your profile or on the left sidebar where the Logout of Facebook link resides. It will, however, appear along with any comments that you make on blog posts.
Something else that is broken is that you can't logout using the top left menu. If you desire to logout, you must click the Logout of Facebook link on the left sidebar. This action will log you out of both Citrixxperience and FB.
One very cool feature is that when you comment on a blog post, you will be given the choice of updating your status on FB with that comment. You can just as easily choose not to post it on FB and it will still post on Citrixxperience.
For those who do not have a Facebook account and don't want one, you can register on Citrixxperience and have a username and password just for Citrixxperience.
If you find any other bugs, please report them to me. Thanks.
