Can a vDisk Contain Multiple Disk Partitions?

Adding a 2nd drive to a virtual disk can be a standard practice for many Citrix XenDesktop administrators.

The best method is to use Provisioning Services to prepare a master image and create C: and D: (or whatever drive letters you prefer) partitions. For information on preparing a master image with Provisioning Services, see eDocs > Technologies > Provisioning Services > Provisioning Services 7.x > Installing and Configuring Provisioning Services.

When the master image is prepared with two partitions, an administrator can deploy new virtual machines, which will have local C: and D: drives as required.
