I am planning on taking the 1Y0-259 exam in April, Please can anyone tell me if this exam has Simulations ?
Meaning not just muliple choice questions but going into a virtual machine (server) and configuring settings to answer the question. I know Microsoft exams now have simulation questions because I took one in Feb 2009.
If the exam has Simulations, what areas do they cover ?

Nick and I discussed this in an email thread. Basically, here’s what we found:
The 1Y0-259 Exam Enablement Guide lists three kinds of interactive questions: 1) Drag and Drop 2) Point and Click 3) Low Fidelity Interactive Items.
1 and 2 are self-explanatory. Everybody’s seen these. But 3 – Low Fidelity Interactive Items – are described as “text boxes associated with different points on an image” in which exam takers “answer an item by typing an ‘x’ in the appropriate text box.”

I am wanting to sit my CCA for the new exam – 259 Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 and XenApp 5.0 for Windows Server 2003: Administration. I was just after some general advice. Internally we have one PS4 Citrix Box. Is this book the correct one to use, if you arent sitting the course? I will also use http://www.amazon.com/Citrix-MetaFrame-Presentation-Server-Exams/dp/0789732467/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1248918325&;sr=1-5 as a backup reference and an internal resource as this covers our current server.
Any help of feedback would be greatly appreiated.

Hi Winston. Sorry for the late reply.
The difference in the bundles is whether you want to make use of the OFFLINE or ONLINE exam simulation. Basically, the differences between the two are 1. The offline exam sim can be used without and internet connection while the online exam sim requires an internet connection and 2. With the online exam sim, you can stop in the middle of a practice exam and return to where you left off at a later time, while this feature is not available with the offline exam sim.
Both bundles include a printable PDF practice exam that contains the same questions and explanations as the exam simulation, and a printable PDF study guide which essentially contains all of the explanations from the practice exam arranged professionally in an outline-like format for easy studying.
