  1. In the Citrix Receiver settings, add an account by entering:
    • Description.
    • Server address.
    • Username.
    • Password.
  2. Configure the gateway settings and save. (See the documentation.)
  3. Launch the connection.
  4. Click ‘Dismiss’ on the ‘Status Change’ message if ‘Save Passwords’ isn’t enabled in Web Interface.
  5. List of apps appears.

Done with configuring the Citrix Receiver.

See the Citrix Knowledge Center article (video) How To Configure Access Gateway Enterprise Edition for Use with iPhone, iPad, and Android Devices for a more in depth look.

on android, firefox in combination with Citrix receiver 3.0 works nicely: No nead to configure the receiver.
Just access the logonpoint, logon and the browser should start the receiver when clicking on a published resource.

I have just tested the following on a Samsumg Galaxy S2:
- Citrix Access Gateway 4.6 Advanced + SMS passcode authentication
- Citrix Access Gateway 4.6 Standard + Ad authentication
- Citrix Access Gateway VPX 5.04 + SMS Passcode authentication
- Citrix Access Gateway VPX 5.01 + Ad authentication
- Citrix Access Gateway 4.6 Standard+ SMS passcode authentication

In order to use Citrix Receiver you will also need either XenApp or XenDesktop to publish the Windows apps or virtual desktops. A simpler and less costly alternative is Ericom AccessNow, a pure HTML5 RDP client that enables users with HTML5-compatible browsers to connect to any RDP host, including Terminal Server (RDS Session Host), physical desktops or VDI virtual desktops – and run their applications and desktops in a browser. AccessNow is a fraction of the price of Citrix Receiver and installs in a few minutes.

Ericom‘s AccessNow does not require Java, Flash, Silverlight, ActiveX, or any other underlying technology to be installed on end-user devices – an HTML5 browser is all that is required.

Note: I work for Ericom

Thanks for providing full disclosure Adam. I admit ignorance when it comes to AccessNow so thanks for the info.
